As a wedding Disc Jockey with 23 years experience, I can justify my average earnings of $70.00 per hour by explaining various expenses such as equipment, music and fuel. Combine that with my experience and you soon understand why I charge what I charge. My FREE advice to you right now is "make a DJ explain his charges". In other words, ask a prospective wedding Disc Jockey "WHY?" not "WHAT?"
How about the question "WHEN?"
Answer: In the Edmonton area, wedding DJs are booked, on average, 5 to 8 months prior to the reception date. Especially for the "high" season. (May through December) What about January through April? If you do not get a discount, move on and find another qualified wedding Disc Jockey that will give you a discount.

Hi Sean, Jeremy and I are headed on our honeymoon tomorrow but I couldn't leave before sending you a "thank- you" email first. I have had so many compliments on your abilities as a DJ from our guests. Everyone was really impressed at how well you read the crowd and kept the dance floor filled with people. I know that we didn't have a ton of time to talk but I really appreciated how easy you were to communicate with and how quickly you responded to any requests I had. In the past 3 years, Jeremy and I have attended 22 weddings and we have seen our fair share of "dead dance floors" so we were verry grateful and relieved to see that our wedding was different. Our reception was so much fun thanks to the awesome dance we had. Our families are still talking about how much they enjoyed the DJ and the dance. My husbands side of the family never dances, but they were all getting involved including a 75 year old grandpa who before then had thought that dancing was "sinful". We had such a blast. Sean was so accomodating and made us feel so relaxed since we knew he was looking after everthing. Best time ever, thanks so much Sean.

Sean was amazing at our wedding!! It truly felt like he was part of the family!! Everyone that attended commented on how great the DJ was and the selection of songs he played!! Not a negative comment from anyone!! That's what every Bride would like to hear!!

Our wedding was awesome! Everyone that walked away from it said it was the best wedding they had ever been to! They helped us keep the crowd interested the entire night and no one wanted to leave!
Sean helped us coordinate our flower toss and made the garter belt one of the funniest highlights of the night.
